Alberta Real Estate Association Forms

There's certainly no shortage of legally binding forms and documents that we'll be pouring through and signing throughout the home buying process, but don't worry, we'll go through everything in fine detail with you so your comfortable knowing exactly what you're signing. The forms below are a launch point to our relationship with all of our buyer clients. These are mandated by the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) and RECA’s primary mandate is to protect consumers.

Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreement (EBRA)

As of July 1, 2014, Rule 43 of the Real Estate Council of Alberta requires that all industry members use a written service agreement, such as the Exclusive Buyer Representation Agreement (EBRA), to establish client relationships.

Why a Written Agreement?

Written details of services offered, and the rights and obligations of the parties help to reduce confusion and misunderstanding.  The EBRA provides clear terms that strengthen and clarify the relationship.  We will review the document with our clients and explain that their signature means they have read and agreed to its terms and have had the opportunity to obtain independent advice

Consumer Relationships Guide

Understanding the legal relationship with your real estate professional whether you're buying or selling a property is probably one of the most important financial decisions you’ll make.

The Consumer Relationships Guide explains the different relationships you can have with a real estate professional. Each has its own legal meaning and responsibilities, so it’s important to understand them. As required by all real estate professionals, we provide this Guide to you and discuss it in detail.

Real Estate The Right Way

Our top priority is to make sure that your home buying experience is pleasant, cost-efficient, and successful.
